Miaowan Island is located in the Miaowan Coral Municipal Nature Reserve in Zhuhai City. It is one of the top ten most beautiful islands in Guangdong and it is called "China Maldives".

For Miaowan, Gree Real Estate has set forth from the perspective of protecting fishery resources and the ecological environment when commencing the construction of a large artificial reef demonstration area in Miaowan and undertaking the marine ecological conservation, protection and restoration of coral resources in the surrounding seas to promote coral growth in Miaowan Island and the surrounding waters, and promote the natural reproduction of sea products.

The total investment of the large artificial reef demonstration area in Miaowan Bay is 168 million RMB. 17,370 artificial fish reefs are planned to be installed in 12 square kilometers of sea near Miaowan Island in Zhuhai City. The project will be divided into two phases. The first phase of the project was completed in February 2018.

The first phase of the project has a total investment of 50 million RMB and 3,519 artificial reefs has been placed in a sea area of 4.73 square kilometers near Miaowan Island. After completion, 9 reef groups will be formed in the northwest side of Miaowan Island, each group consists of 391 reefs, arranged in a staggered formation to cover a 200mx200m area.
